Energy Security in Levent Boğaziçi Metro

One of the best examples of the advantages of establishing a system without being tied to a specific manufacturer is the application on the Levent-Bogazici Metro Line.

Here, the needs were examined and instead of using the products of a single manufacturer, an optimum system was created by choosing lighting UPSs from different manufacturers, signaling UPSs from different manufacturers, and rectifiers from a third manufacturer. It has been working flawlessly since 2014.

ERDEMİR Blast Furnace Optimization

Ayşe and Zübeyde are two blast furnaces in which thousands of tons of steel are molten. It is essential to keep this huge mass at the required temperature with minimum fuel consumption and to prevent an energy interruption that could cause the steel inside to freeze no matter what. It has been working flawlessly for many years with the system installed by EKA Sistem.

Boiler Protection System of Ambarlı Power Plant

Monitoring the activity of each burner inside the boiler, where 12 burners turned into an inferno of flame, did not allow the use of sensors sensitive to visible light or infrared due to smoke and infrared reflection from hot pipes. The solution was provided by developing an ultraviolet sensor sensitive to the flame root frequency. The system has been working flawlessly for 40 years.
